Dr. Ron Hodge

Ron Hodge, PhD, ACC

Dr. Hodge is a business leader and executive coach with over 40 years of professional experience in the consulting industry.  As an executive coach, he engages clients in a creative process to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex environment.  He earned a PhD in Public Policy with a concentration in Science, Technology and Innovation and is currently a Professor of Business Strategy for the MBA programs at Virginia Tech and Rice University.  He is also an independent consultant, advising government and commercial clients on business strategy and development.    

Previously, as a Partner/Senior Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, he converged strategic, financial, operational and marketing expertise into a versatile business and drove performance results.  He provided leadership in multiple businesses, and produced  rapid growth and diversification of new lines of business, service offerings, and key market segments.

His experience includes building high-performance organizations, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and technical competencies among diverse teams.  His business performance and technology expertise made him a senior executive within the largest operating group: the $1B+ Technology Practice.  His corporate leadership roles included strategic, financial and people oversight to sustain a high-growth, highly diversified business.  His legacy includes many financial and people practices that continue to shape the way the firm does business.

He is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the Management Department (Former Chairman) in the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech.  He previously served as a Board Member for Northern Virginia Family Service, a non-profit organization providing essential services to the community.

Dr. Hodge is a featured speaker at various forums on topics such as Innovation, Information Sharing, Critical Thinking, and Management Consulting.
